In 2021, after a long, difficult hiatus, in-person marathons started making a comeback. And the Bank of America Chicago Marathon was leading the way.

Even in the hardest of times, Chicagoans dig deep to make progress, starting each day with the perseverance of a long-distance runner. As a tribute to the city that’s always up and running, to all the determination and hope that inspires, we created a campaign that’s a love letter to Chicago.
